So now it's here - the end, which I still hope doesn't deserve this name. Yesterday, Till and I took Jin to the train station. All the things I had planned to say wouldn't leave my mouth in the end, of course. So I just stood there like a sack of flour, but Jin knew what had to be done and just took me tight and long in her arms.
She first takes the train to Frankfurt and then actually gets on a plane there. For a long time she researched whether it is somehow possible to get to Myanmar by rail. But flying is the only way. With a stopover in New Delhi. Then on to a country for which the Foreign Office has issued a travel warning. No idea where she takes this courage from. When she comes back, she will be a different person. Whenever that will be.
So it remains to be seen whether this was already the whole story of 'The Holy Loneliness Collective' or just a first taste. To endure uncertainty - that's where true greatness shows itself. Some smart person must have said that once. And whoever it was, he was damn right. I, for one, can't handle it very well yet. But now I have lots of time to practice.
However things will go on - nobody can take those first 15 months of 'The Holy Loneliness Collective' away from us. And at least an EP with five songs has come to life, which we can spend the next months listening to full of nostalgia.
And with that I say goodbye for now. Have a good time and take care of yourselves. I'll see you on the other side!
